10-Week Peak is a 10-week progressive strength-training program. This program will not only teach you the foundation and benefits of a well rounded, progressive strength training program but you will get strong and fit at the same time. An effective strength program will incorporate progressive resistance as a primary focal point. Progressive resistance is a term that suggests that the weight being used increases incrementally over time. This is necessary for consistent results.
The 2nd Annual Core Cares Cycle-A-ThonPosted: 11.23.2011 Please join us on Saturday December 17th from 7am -4pm to raise money for Maureen's Haven Homeless Outreach Program. This is a wonderful event that we plan on doing year after year. Every cent from the event is donated to Maureen's Haven. The event was a huge success last year, raising over $13,000 in just one-day. The program, based out of the First Presbyterian Church in Southampton, helps feed and clothe less fortunate people of our area.
Everyone is invited to take part in this spectacular event. What better way to spend 30 minutes, one day during this holiday season, helping people less fortunate than ourselves while having fun and getting a great workout.
A minimum donation of just $15 to reserve a bike for 30 minutes is all that it takes. Of course, we encourage riders to get as many sponsors as they can for the event. There will be awards given for the top 3 highest fundraisers. A little incentive to raise more money can go a long way.
For more information and to reserve your bike and ride time please call us at 631.726.6049 or email- info@coredynamicsgym.com
We look forward to seeing you. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

But unlike more daunting pursuits– rock climbing, for example, or running for mayor – success is all but assured; the only requirement is to stick with it. I wish I’d thought of this the other week when Jim was away on vacation. In his absence, I took a little vacation of my own, reverting to my slothful ways.
Diary of a Reluctant Gym Rat Part 2Posted: 06.20.2011 Our second FMS session at Core Dynamics commenced with an unpleasant surprise: I was being re-screened without warning. While I hyperventilated into my sweat rag, Jim O'Hagan, my trainer, set up the test equipment, explaining that he needed to gauge my progress before we could proceed |
