Core Dynamics is an exclusive fitness club located in an impeccably converted potato barn in the heart of the Hamptons on Deerfield Road, just south of the railroad crossing in Water Mill. With its soaring thirty-foot-high ceilings, pine wainscoting and exposed beams, the interior looks nothing like a traditional gym. Upon entering, you will notice the bright and airy work out area, featuring top-of-the-line cardio equipment, Cybex treadmills, Arc Trainers, True Striders, Octane cross-trainers and exercise bikes (including Cycle Ops, the indoor training bike favored by pro cyclists). At the rear of the facility, you will find a fully equipped weight room with the latest Cybex VR3 strength machines and free weights. In the adjoining functional training studio you’ll find a range of equipment from kettle bells to medicine and stability balls and resistance bands to diversify and enhance your workout.
Core Dynamic’s founder, Jim O’Hagan, opened his unique fitness center in January 2006, after struggling to find a facility that met his demanding expectations. “The fitness industry is constantly being devalued due to poor management and a serious lack of true professionals, which lowers overall value and members expectations of their fitness experience. People are led to believe that what makes a great facility is the size and how much equipment you can fit into it. “I strongly believe that there are many factors that go into a great facility, but that it all begins with exceptional people. My staff and I are constantly looking for ways to improve our members experience, from innovative training techniques to an immaculate, non- intimidating atmosphere”.
Core Dynamics has incredible group fitness instructors. You will find small classes featuring a high level of personal attention. Some of our classes include; Pilates mat, Yoga, flexibility, strength and conditioning and indoor cycling.
